Thanks Scott! Everytime I get film developed it is like X-Mas. I just can’t wait to see what’s in the package.

Amazing pic. I wonder how much longer that deer was alive.
Where was that pic taken? That deer looks a lot like a muley by the rump. Does your buddy live out west?Gator Hunter
Gator,
Yeah, my buddy lives out in Oregon. I try to go out every year for about 5 days for a Blacktail (Muley) hunt. It’s different muley hunting then the TV shows have, it’s more, sit and wait, rather than spot and stalk. Reminds me a lot of whitetail hunting back in wisc, probably why I like it so much. As for how long he was alive, my guess not too long!September 1, 2004 at 3:17 pm #319725Quote:

Have you copyrighted that pic? You should – that could be worth some money if published in the outdoor mags. Imagine trying to get that close to a deer toting a deer or a gun….

Nice pics man. That bear hunting is on my to do list and is close to the top. Guess now I just have to wait my 5 years or so to get the tag.

I have got to get me one of those camera’s!September 11, 2004 at 2:00 am #3282I suggest the DeerCam. It is a little bit more than some but I think the features and quality is great. I’ve got 2 of them and they are awesome. My next thing to do is get one that is digital.

September 11, 2004 at 2:07 am #3283Boy, that first pic sure is a wide 8-pointer. He is going to be a heck of a deer in a year or two.

September 13, 2004 at 12:09 pm #3286All of these deer are 3 1/2 yo deer. The sad thing is we have a couple of these 8’s that are super nice deer….They just stay 8’s though. There are a couple that are 10’s but most have been 8’s with 20-23″ spreads and tall. I just wish they had a couple of more points.

Buddy just sent me some pics from a camera where we will be bow hunting this fall. This is my 4th year at this spot and it is bow hunting property only, so it is nothing to see 3-4 pope and young deer in a day. Hope I get lucky and man am I pumped.
