In less than a month we should be able to start the 2004 thread. Hopefully I get the first picture up! Anyone have any trail cam shots from this year?

Hope your not close to any roads, because last year I had a 150 incher hanging out around my stands and he ended up vulture bait. Best of luck to you. Got any deer cam pics of him.

They can Dodge Bullets and Arrows for months and go in Stealth mode if they have to , but they just seem like they can’t see a big truck coming down the road ?????????? Don’t they look both ways before crossing???? What happenend to that super hearing ability I have been busted on before?????

Well, I managed to get one picture up and running. Caught him still in velvet and I amn’t talking about black velvet.

One Question though???? Is it not illegal to take bucks with a net in WI????

Dandy , wish I had at least one good pic like that. Need to buy a camera first though. If that doesn’t get a guy pumped up to sit in a tree I don’t know what will. Do you know the age of that deer?

Lip: There is something about lights that attract deer I am thinking. Maybe I should just leave my flashlight on all morning long and I could get one to run into me

That’s why I don’t believe in Scent-Lok and the Cough Silencer. I drive my fully rigged, diesel burning, 24-wheeled MACK deer killing machine. Armed only with a grill…., wow, buckmaster a “net” hmmmm never tried that

Ok, I’m offically going insane! I need to post another pic I have. This weather is getting to me, not to mention all this scouting with no hunting!

The above is a picture (not a very good pic, but the only one I have on my computer)of my brothers buck. He arrowed this buck two seasons ago from the same Farm and Stand that I shot my Bruiser Buck from last year. He shot this a few days before Thanksgiving in 2002. This buck came cruising through in the evening @ 24 yards and my brother dropped him on the spot. Not sure exactly what happened but it kind of paraylzed him, my brother had to put another arrow through him to finish him off. My brother says that this buck was with another buck on this evening and he believes it is the one I have @ the taxidermy..

This buck unofficially goes 124. He has yet to have it offically scored. This is his biggest buck to date.

Only 10 more days!

Please, just stop with the pics . Less than 2 weeks to go and I am about to SNAP….aaaarrrggghhhhh. Just kidding about the pics, but I really am about to snap. I think I might go climb a tree with the climber and pretend I am hunting, maybe that will cure this anxiety. Nice buck by the way

Thanks Guys! My brother still owes me for that one. Good thing somebody did his homework on this one, bought the stand and also hung it for him . Good to see him get his 1st one out of the way!

One thing I forgot to mention about this buck is his Choco horns. Kind of rare to me. I have not seen many around here. Anybody else see Chocolate horns around here besides Canada???

I heard once that the color of the horns are related to what type of trees they rub on. Not sure if this makes sense or not. However, when you think that Canada is dominated by fir trees, maybe it does.
