Well, I’m getting old and the backs been taking its toll. There’s always been a balance between light weight and comfort…and I enjoy comfort now days. I bought a very comfy and, comparative, it’s pretty light weight deer stand. It’s basically a millennium m-150 (different brand, same specs) but I also installed a shooting rail. The climbing sticks I own are heavy as heck but honestly, they are the nest I’ve ever used.

I’ve been hunting out of state in areas where ATV’s are not allowed, just man power. Because of the added weight of the shooting rail (I love and won’t give up), and the tank climbing sticks, throw in a bad back, I had to deer cart my stand out.

This year I added wheels to the stand. The wheels will come off in 2 seconds by removing a pin. I don’t think I could throw a deer on it but may need to try with a friend.

That’s quite the rig! I bought a decent cart years ago to assist myself in long hauls when there’s no snow. I’ve hauled 2 deer on it once and dang near went cardiac arrest after 2 average hills. I decided multiple trips from now on. I’m guessing your stand n sticks is similar weight to an average cart?
