Deep Creek Lake Md access?

Anyone here fish Deep Creek? The access I used to utilize had been closed. Looking for access to the coves. Im a disabled vet so the long walk out from town is out of the question. Semper Fi

I fish all over and live in VA. So I figured somebody on here might be able to help. The lake locals are tight lipped. They want those 16″ perch to themselves. Still open to any help.

I live no where near Maryland and won’t be fishing the lake, but a quick Google search,(if I found the right lake) says there is a State Park on or near it. That should have public access if it borders the lake.

There is a state park with access yes and there is access from town also. The good fishing happens in the coves. Fishing the open lake opens up your tip ups to snow machine traffic. They often run over them for fun! This is not your typical ice fishing lake. Does have giant perch pike and walleye. Thanks for trying to help. Have a safe ice season Nic.
