Deep clear eyes

First time fishing a very clear deep lake in Northern MN, finding some eyes near the deep weed line 18-20′ associated with rocks before the sun comes up but nothing too big. Marking tons of bait balls right on the hard/muck transitions around 27-30′ with nice arches suspending about 20-25′. They only seem to be there during lowlight or night time, what’s the best way to attack these fish? Tried bottom bouncers for an hour with no luck at midnight and got no lead core setups, just curious what others have done, I get the feeling the big girls wait until the bait comes into the structure at night to feed, and with that moon getting brighter by the day getting anxious!

If the bait balls are getting in on specif spots that you can isolate and jig, I go vertical with lipless baits. I use the lipless Live target gizzard shad and I know James has success with the Rapala Rip’n Rap (I think that’s the model). I do exceptionally well at night on super clear water lakes with that tactic.

Never did pull anything out of em. Didn’t give it much time but vertical jigging with spoons, jigs, swim baits and raps didn’t pan out, trolling through em neither, and finally slip bobbering didnt produce. Was fun seeing all the activity on the depth finder though, don’t fish deep lakes much at all so cool to see how well it picks everything up and get a more panned out view.
