Just looking for some suggestions. I’m new to Mille Lacs and want opinions on how well a 19′ Hurricane deck boat will perform on Mille Lacs. I’m considering it vs a Tritoon and really not sure if the deckboat will handle Mille Lacs. Looking for pleasure cruising and some basic fishing, nothing too strenuous

We take barge waves and tuna boat wakes that nearly swallow 16-17’ fishing boats without issue. Keep the Bimini stowed/not open for the kite effect if it’s windy. The deck boats are much lower to the water with less margin for error in driving them in rough conditions
I would agree. Triton. They do incredibly well in waves.
I agree with both of the above.
I love my pontoon, but with anything, know the water, weather and pay attention.
