I’m a 1/2 bumkin I suppose. Live outside of the metro but not really out in the country either. Shelves are getting a bit picked around here also. If or when the shelter in place order comes it is still gonna catch a bunch of people off guard. As long as we can buy milk we should be ok.

    Yeah decisions are getting harder.
I was out crappie fishing today runnin and gunnin.
Trying to decide on color, jigs, spoons, deadstick, meat was brutal.
We ended up catching one mans limit but worked our a$$es off for it.

They will keep the grocery stores open but that might be it. Certainly interesting times. I’m so glad / fortunate I have a lake and woods to use at my disposal. Stocked on minnows and waxys and tungsten flys

TOMORROW atleast for Wisconsin. They have been systematically shutting down the country for atleast two weeks now. In case nobody has noticed.

Trump is locking the country down by mid next week. Maybe sooner.

DOHS, guard, private security firms, fema…all mobilizing.

Buy groceries and supplies tonight/tomorrow and avoid the initial panic wave.
I’m not getting shot over cheerios.

It wouldn’t impede delivery and access to food. You are very irisponsible for making such a serious and dangerous online post!

years ago when I was a kid,I asked mom what was for supper.
it had been a lean year especially for very small farms and things were tough for us.
so what reply did I get from mom about supper??
turkey turds and rain water !! well,if that had been true I am sure mom could of made them taste like heaven!!

I never said it would impede anything. In fact, I’d agree with the move.
I’m only saying it will produce another wave of panic with certain people, and I don’t want to be at the grocery store the first couple of days after the declaration.

No you said get it tonight/tomorrow? Why?

I’ve been able to find everything over the past 2 weeks except ground beef – it is the new toilet paper.

I have really not felt any stress at all over this. I also have been keeping away from the tv news, I don’t do any social media except here and a smoking meat forum.

I think POTUS,federal/state & local governments are doing a great job, given the enormity of the problem they are faced with.

Pantry & freezers are good for months. Only thing I can’t do yet is fish but when the boat gets out of winter storage in 1 1/2 weeks, I’ll be putting her over the bank plenty.

    Things could always be worse!

The only thing stressing me out is a potential shelter in place order. Gonna be stressful for lots of people here if we are all placed on house arrest during the peak of the walleye run. People spreading rumors on social media about it being imminent doesn’t help.

I don’t see a hard shelter being even a possibility. There are too many people living in apartments, that don’t have the freezer or pantry space to stock up for more than a couple weeks, we will be allowed to get essentials if & when any such order would occur. The panic and hysteria is not even realistic. I too am glad I can walk to the river bank and fish or the woods to hunt. Of course no hunting season is really going to be open til September.

Rumors. Too bad they can’t shut down social media for a few weeks.

The thing is, most every rumor over the last 2 weeks ultimately has become reality.

Frankly, I’d be far more surprised if there was not a SIP soon. I’ve already resigned there will be and the official announcement will be just a formality.

As far as shutting down social media, any individual has the right to shut themselves off from social media. Don’t like what you see…then don’t bother to look.

Not much difference between a shut down and where we are now. No difference at all for me the last two weeks. I’ve been doing my part but it must end soon.
