I just had John at TUCR make me a bullwhip with custom colors of your teams purple and gold. I have put it on my spare bed with a blanket around it to keep it safe and free from anyone touching such a beautiful rod. Now I have been extremely excited to carry your colors on the best ice fishing rods on the planet so please do something about your offensive line. Don’t make me wanna snap it into pieces because of the colors I chose and the crap your putting on the field right now. Thank you, KD

Vikings don’t have enough room under the salary cap to hire anybody.
Don’t worry about anybody stealing your rod……Purple is out of style these days. jester

Don’t worry, your rod will be just fine. You will catch many, many fish. One day you will feel a tug, holy cow, this is the fish of a lifetime. Then the rod will start bending, more, more, then that baby will snap in places you never thought possible. That my friend, is the true purple & gold.

I think I heard that this is National Epilepsy Month and that purple is their official color. Probably a better cause to support with your new rod than NFL players anyway… ;)

Wow… 5-2 and people are bailing from the Viking ship and heading over to the Titanic !!! Seasons only half over and at the end, would you be satisfied with 11-5 or 12-4 ? coffee Every week this O- Line learns a little more… yeah they look like they are in Pre-season (they are as a group) and it will be fine.

I believe in Zimmer and the staff he has assembled (sans Norv Turner). I think they will improve. Its probably accurate that this team was not as good as they looked the first 5 weeks and we have been brought back down to earth a bit but as big_g said we are still looking at finishing with a good record and consider what the Vikings have had to deal with for loss!!! I know that every team deals with injuries but we lost both of our starting tackles plus loadholt to retirement, our starting QB a week before the season started! and our hall of fame best pure runner in the league since Jim Brown running back. We have also lost some players on defense like Floyd and Rhodes for a few games, and sandejo and we are 5-2!! We may be trending downward at the moment but give credit where credit is due. This team has done more with less than I think most NFL teams could manage. Certainly if the packers had these kind of losses they wouldn’t be 5-2 that’s for sure, mainly because they only make changes 3 days a year: draft day 1, draft day 2, draft day 3. Then the offseason is done until the next years draft.

    Great News! Norv Resigned!

Allow me to share a little story. Earlier this year I was in California on a business trip. On the last day of the trip I was in a fancy steakhouse in a swanky part of town (companies dime so yeah I ordered the lamb chops and a few pours of 20 year old scotch). A guy is sitting next to me at the bar and the bar tender keeps asking him all these questions about football and making odd references to players and whatnot. Now normally I keep to myself but I had had a few pours so I turn to him and start up a conversation. After a minute I ask him what he does and he says hes an NFL coach. Turns out it was Greg Olson OC for the Jacksonville Jaguars (who just got fired incidentally). Anyway we ended up talking for about an hour about football and it was pretty cool. He told me how he doesn’t like Bortles as a QB cause he is “too dumb to understand the playbook”. He also told me he is good friends with Norv Turner and that Norv hates it here in MN and wants out. Well it certainly seems that’s the case today. So long Norv!! Good Riddance

Good one big_g but I’m not bailing on my vikes at all. But in all fairness you can’t tell me the o line is getting better when there actually worse. I understand the injuries and backups but hopefully we get it together this week with a big win. Vikes for life!
