Scheels Sports in Eau Claire, WI invites you to join them at the Scheels Fish Fest, to be held May 15-17.
The Scheels Fish Fest features the Berkley Experience Trailer, which showcases the work that Berkley is doing to help you catch more fish. Johnnie Candle, who helped develop the popular line of Scheels trolling rods, including the leadcore “shorty”, will be on hand to talk walleye fishing. Local angler Denis Vandenbloomen will conduct a kids fishing seminar on Saturday, complete with free tackle packs and T-shirts for the kids in attendance.
While at Scheels, be sure to visit with fishing department manager (and IDO member) Dwight Schusman to chat about the latest products from Humminbird and Minn Kota, including the Humminbird Side Imaging locators and the Minn Kota Fortrex trolling motors. Also, be sure to pick up your copy of the new In-Depth Outdoors instructional DVD, “Mastering Jig Dragging”, and an assortment of Draggin Jigs and Precision Jigs from B-Fish-N tackle. While visiting with Dwight, be sure to ask him how the fish are biting on Lake Menomin, his favorite local body of water.
