I have been doing a little research, picking the brains of some of the best anglers I know, trying to find out who makes the best drift socks out there. I have been wanting to get a pair of drift socks to use off the bow of my boat to slow my speed when I’m trolling crankbaits with my main motor. After getting several opinions, I have decided to go with the Drift Control Drift Socks. I haven’t gotten to use them myself yet, so I can’t offer my personal recommendation yet, but if they perform as well as I hear from some of the guys I trust, I expect to be very satisfied. And, I heard enough good things about Drift Control Drift Socks that I have decided to make them available to our customers at Jolly Ann Marine. I don’t know when I’ll get a chance to get out on the water to do some trolling again, but I’ll let you all know how they perform. I think the real test will be one of endurance and quality, which I may not be able to report until next season. In the meantime, anyone else have any pros or cons to offer regarding Drift Control Drift Socks? Good or bad, I’m interested in more honest reviews if you’ve got ’em.
