Forgot one Big Guy! I left one Matrix VHF radio at Everts.

Once I get the GPS connected, I’ll get back with you…but if this radio can do what it says it can….Sweet!

I didn’t realize it had the controls on the mic. Since I dodge barges using the marine radio at night…the mic controls are perfect!

Heck, the darn thing even displays what type of channel your on…bridge to bridge, pleasure, distress ect.

Only one thing wrong with it…I turned it on to the weather channel and the first thing I heard was snow in the forecast. Dean must have sold me a defective one.

Now if I change channels often enough the FW won’t find me and call me home early on the hand held…

That was the worst purchace I’ve ever made!

Hey Briank, just carry an empty potato chip bag along, when FW calls on radio…just start crinkling the bag next to the mike when you key it to talk and say can you hear me you are breaking up ! Problem solved……till you get home!

I figured I better update this. The Matrix that Dean had walked out the door this morning to a happy customer.

I’m not sure when he’ll be getting another radio in…Just handhelds in stock right now.
