James hit it right on the head about the Catalpa Orange/Chart tail paddletail. That is by far my most productive color. I am drooling all over myself just thinking about how hard the eyes and saugers smack these things, especially when dragging them.

I agree. I have ordered a few things direct from BFN tackle and have nothing but possitive things to say. I think I may have to try them out this weekend.

Thanks for the stuff Dave, and thanks for the advise James.

I used the gold jigs up north on Big Cormoran lake this last weekend worked great with a redtail vertical jigging, I didn’t try any of the other color. But I can’t wait.

I’m sorry Dave, when I first eyeballed your glitter jigs…I said…”That looks like the costum jewlery grandma wore!”

Then I was on Mille Lacs with Jimm…er James and learned to keep my mouth shut..well, sort of.

I need to get a report up but I have a couple things that need tending to. Hope to have it up tonight. Reading this thread…I figure I should make a quickie post.

All I can say is walleyes love costum jewlery!

PS Too many fish to keep track of…I think this was a 27″ pitching to rocks.

PSS When she hit…I think you could hear it all over the lake…..WHAM! FISH ON!!

Got home from Nashville Saturday night to find the Jig and Plastic kit! Man, that is service and they sure are pretty! My daughter (11 yo) really liked the glittery jigs – she wants to go out fishing so she can use the ‘pretty ones’

I hit the Croix on Sunday with the intent of giving these a try. I had some fatheads and shiners in the baitwell and used these to try to find some fish. Fishing was tough on the lower Croix yesterday – couldn’t buy a bite anywhere so I never did break out the plastics… maybe the bite will pick up when it cools down again and then I’ll give the plastics a good try.
