We’ve never had a 1/16th Oz. Precision Head in our line-up and our customers have been after us to add that size time and time again.

So we listened. For all you jig draggers and shallow-water ringworm pitchers, we’re going to make our first quantities of 1/16th Oz. Precision Heads available to the public at the Madison Sport Show… and at a VERY low price.

Once we get back from the sports show in Madison look for the 1/16th Oz heads to be on our website with heavier heads in the 1/2 & 5/8 Oz. sizes to be added at the same time.

If anyone has any questions just holler at me here or send an email to: [email protected]

Yessssssss! Finally! Glad to hear it.

Here’s an obvious question from those of us who won’t be traveling to Madison: how can we get some ASAP?

They won’t be released until the sports show unless production goes faster than expected. But by the monday after the show they’ll be available online. That is the soonest I can guarantee release to the general public.

If sales at the show go the way they did last year I’ll be pouring jigs in the motel room just to make sure I can start shipping online orders on Monday 27, February.

I’ll post a reminder here when they’re ready to go.

We’ve got the needed “whatever it takes” attitude here in Prairie du Chien. We’ll have those jigs ready to go on the 27th.

For those that launch out of Everts Resort on Pool 4, they just placed a “pre-order” for 1/16th oz. Precision Heads so we’ll have them out and available to them for sale on the 27th. A little earlier if the elves in the shop are open to some overtime.

Ha! I fibbed. The 1/16th ounce Precision Heads will be on the website (unpainted only for about a week) and ready for sale on the 23rd – Thursday instead of on the 27th as promised. I just received the first test pours and they’re flawless. These are going to be great for skinny water casting AND dragging livebait when snags are a huge issue. That “plastics” keeper works great on crawlers too ya’ know.

And to keep Herb happy, out 1/2 & 5/8 ounce jigs will be the next new sizes to go into production. We should have those inside the next two weeks. Just in time for the spring walleye run.

Can’t make 5/8th ouce hair jigs without 5/8 ounce jigs… lol

How’s the winter been treating you Herb? I haven’t heard much about you trapping or ice fishing. I heard a rumo that you went and got yourself un-retired. Is that true?
