We have been given a great price on some Raymarine color fishfinders and we have priced these units accordingly. These are remanufactured units which generally means that the factory has found a defect in the unit and has repaired the problem. The nice thing about remanufactured units is that they have generally been tested and proven to be in good working order. I don’t think we’ve ever had a remanufactured unit returned due to a defect in the unit. Also, remans are a safe buy because the manufacturer covers them with a warranty the same as if they were brand new. You basically get a new unit at a huge savings with all the protection the warranty offers.
As far as these Raymarine units go, I have heard they are top of the line. I haven’t used one myself but have paid attention to the discussion boards and gotten feedback from former customers. They’ve been given the thumbs up.
