im possibly in the market for new boots both for fall/spring boat loading and winter ice fishing. what is the difference between a $200 boot and one of their $125 boots? is it just warmth? i am most interested in a boot that is durable i guess.
When sized properly, there’s not a better “do it all” cold weather boot out there. The heel locks nice so they’re not sloppy, they hold up better than Mucks, and are plenty warm. My current pair is in season 3 or 4 and I don’t anticipate replacing them too soon.
I wear a 10.5 and upsized to an 11. I’d recommend going up at least a half size. They run true to size in my opinion, but having room in a boot is crucial to keeping feet warm. My wife went up a full size in hers and has no issues with them flopping or the heel not staying locked.
