I found Federal dove and target loads at Walmart in Woodbury today for 4.95 a box. 12 gauge only. 7.5 or 8 shot.

These are the first sub $5 boxes I’ve seen in a long time. If you’re going to burn up a few boxes tuning up this fall now’s your chance. I showed restraint and only bought 10 so plenty left.

FYI – Herters 12 and 20 are on sale at Cabelas today (8/17) only. 49.99/case. I’m not sure if the price is online only or in-store too.

I’ve shot 8+ cases of the Herters 20g this summer and they’re a great round for the price.
