I never use a bobber on my deadsticks designed rods. That’s how they are designed to be used. Put a baitfeeder reel on it.

I have a panfish deadstick from JT Customs, no need for a bobber at all

I use the TUCR Deadstick and don’t need one. I have a baitfeeder reel on mine but the rod is designed with a soft tip so it acts as an indicator as well.

Same here TUCR Deadstick has the hi vis orange tip. Strictly a sight rod no bobber required.

One should not need a bobber on a dead stick design rod. Can still use bobber if one really wants to.
