I’ve never fished Mille Lacs before but was thinking of heading up for a day trip this weekend. What area would be good place to start if you’re just fishing the daylight hours? I assume I’ll be able to drive my Tacoma on the ice at this point.
Hunter Point has roads out to the Flats which are probably your best bet for daytime bite. Maybe call ahead, I see the crack blew up at Lyback’s today.. This warm weather is going to cause some problems. As far as your pick-up, you should be able to drive anywhere. Like I said, check with whatever resort you chose for ice conditions.
