Going to be in the cities for work on Thursday March 3rd with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Wont be able to haul much gear so was going to see if could find a day house available for Friday and Saturday. I know chances are they will be booked on this short notice but gonna try anyway. Any suggestions? Mille lacs, Brainerd area, or Alexandria area? Open to any suggestions.

Depending on how far you want to travel and for what kind of fish, I would look in to Minnetonka, Waconia, or that area. Just out side the cities and has great options.
Mille lacs has been tough I hear, most bites coming in the evening.
If you want to go out and run around I bet there are many guys who’d let you tag along. I always like meeting new people. Met some pretty cool guys on this site.

I would prefer walleyes but a trip to low would be more driving than fishing if I could find something available, so I am open to anything swimming closer to the metro. Will have wife and dog with also so was thinking day house might be best. Appreciate the suggestions and will look into it. Thanks.

Also all fish houses must be off on March 1st.

Its not the 7th? Dnr site says 7th below line and 21st above.

I was planning on panfish unless making the trip to LOW.

Doug – you are correct. For 2022, it is March 7 and March 21.
