I have a Dave genz one man fish trap and was curious if anyone has replaced the tent with a newer clam fish trap tent. I patched the holes in it but would like to upgrade to a thermal cover if that’s even an option.

I have a 2 man from about 1997 that sat in my shed because life was too busy. Last year I moved and almost threw it away as it had mouse eaten canvas for a cover. I looked on Clam’s website last year and sure enough found a replacement. It was $150. I got it in a couple days and it’s a lot nicer, modern cover. It was worth every penny. You just have to figure out which model fits your frame.

I’ve done it with a Nanook. I would go to the link above and you should be able to find a replacement for $150-$200. Also very easy to put on once you get it.

take measurements of your house and find something that is about the the same size. the new houses tend to be a little larger but it is not enough to worry about.
