Stop the shipment, return them, whatever you do don’t wear them for the day.

You will never be able to go back to normal socks again.

    2 cents.

They’re great. Best socks for using with waders in my opinion

Terrific socks, probably my favorite brand. I stopped wearing cotton socks about 10 years ago and am slowing upgrading my old merino daily wears to Darn Toughs.

Darn Tuff’s are my favorite socks by far. Farm to feet, and Smartwool are both good options, but I think their not as good.

At 25-30 a pair they better be both good and have a lifetime warranty. They do look really nice though. The over the calf cushioned pair would be great inside the alpha burly’s for ice fishing and stand sitting during the muzzy season

I doubt I will ever give up cotton for day to day. All my regular shoes are sized to JC Penney Gold Toes!! LOL Im going to try them in my field hunting boots and field Mucks. We’ll see what they fit. I have a million different socks but can only wear certain socks with certain footwear. I became a big believer of Marino wool a couple years ago when I discovered Minus33 underwear.

Wearing a pair as we speak. Really like them but anyone have issues with them pilling up?

My feet sweat a ton and I get athlete’s foot real easy, both since I was a little kid, so it was easy to give up cotton socks. Nothing but wool or poly plus plenty of Gold Bond regular powder has really helped my feet.

Never had a problem with them pilling up but everything gets washed on gentle cycle and laid flat to dry. I’d send them an email about that warranty, see what they say. I’ve replaced a pair for the FW before and customer service was fast about the new pair.

I used to swear by Smart Wool until I bought my first pair of Darn Tough. I just ordered two more pairs of DTs yesterday. They keep they shape and comfort extremely well.

Why would lifetime warranty on any sock have value to a buyer, I cannot think of a sock that had a manufactures defect….

But hey if it makes you buy them, good on darn good.

If they rip or develop holes, you can take them to anywhere that sells darn tough and grab a new pair off the shelf and swap the old pair… for free. I’ve done it with 2 pairs already.

I’m more impressed with the fact you wore holes in those things. Tap dance on concrete with no shoes or what? grin

I actually had a couple pairs of the thinner tall socks that I like for early season upland hunting… both times I was in a rush to swap out a new pair at the truck mid day… socks don’t slide on as easily when your feet are sweaty. In a rush, I didn’t bunch the sock up to get my toes all the way in and then pull the tube of the sock up like I should have.. I instead just tried to pull the socks all the way up by grabbing near the top opening and ended up ripping one of the socks.

Its a zero questions asked policy when going to exchange for a new pair. You literally just grab a new pair off the shelf and that’s that.

I have worn them a couple times. Darn nice. They dont seem to mess with shoe fit like I thought they would. I might need more of these bad boys.
