Just be happy it didn’t smack ya in the windshield. Those are big, solid birds.

I drive through a grove of Pine trees by my house daily. I’m almost more afraid of the Turkeys then Deer.

Few years back a lady hit a turkey on 35 just south of nb and it went through the windshield and hospitalized her. My wife was on the nursing staff and said it was pretty brutal

did ya save it for the smoker????
several years ago something flew in front of my little chevy,I hit it dead center of the grill taking out the hood,grill,radiator,a/c condenser and all of the lights.
it was my neighbors peahen, what a thump that thing made !!

if that isnt bad enough,I have hit eighteen deer with car or truck since opening day of pheasant season 1988,and not once did I leave the road to do it either !
I made a LEO laugh about it once,he asked how I hit a deer in broad daylight on an open highway,I told him the deer had it timed for 55 mph and I was doing 60.
hope you get you truck fixed soon !!

There was nothing left of it exploded into a ball of feathers.

I believe it did have it’s arm extended. Am I going to get in trouble for that?

most likely you wont if it didnt have a camera mounted to capture the moment or if there were not any witnesses.
I would be more worried about getting caught hunting out of season. rotflol

A new windshield would probable cost less.

Payback for thanksgiving. They’ve got out on you. Be careful. Trust no one.

I recently put a new aftermarket grill on my Dodge and it was super easy. I got it from Amazon for $170.
