    Im confused with the dates for this section of river. Can I catch and release smallies on this stretch next weekend?

    The Croix does not follow the MN c&r season. The rumor last year was it was going this year but when I read through the regs nothing changed for this season.

    LEGALLY, you can’t fish for smallies up here on the St.Croix til June 17th

    Well. Talked to WI DNR. Cannot fish for bass until May 27.
