DAMN CATFISH

YESTERDAY, March 10, I lost a rod at RW. doah Partner caught a channel cat and it got caught up in both our lines. Put my rod down and went back to net it. Released it and quickly untangled our lines. Put my line back in the water and went back to the front of the boat. That’s when I noticed my rod was gone, what happened I don’t know. Anyway, it went down across the point at the Y on the WI side where the trees start and down about 30 yds in 24 ft. of water. It was a custom made 7 ft. black rod. It had a 1500 Daiwa Procyon reel taped to the all cork handle. If anyone is lucky enough to catch it and nice enough to turn it in, if they are an IDO member that will probably happen, Karie at the bait shop has all my info. BK, this would never had happened if it would of been a walleye. flame If returned, I will make it right with you.

    Good fishing

Hard core! Few people fish for channels this time of year.

Next thing we know, you’ll be night fishing Nord! LOL!

I’ll keep a look out as well. waytogo

Well, yeah. It’d be pretty tough for a wet sock to pull a rod into the water.
