Detroit paying the price for their rep as a dirty team. They can’t get a call and they’re getting the flag on even the most marginal of holds.

Detroit just got hugely lucky with a fumble that Dallas then fumbled right back to them giving them a 1st down. Not over yet.

Don’t forget the great call on running into the punter in the 1st quarter flame

Detroit bottles it and fumbles on 4th down. Dallas is heading to Lambo.

Must have been a wash since Pedigree didn’t get called for the facemask on the same play

I can’t think of a time I would ever root for Dallas to win a game. Not even against Green Bay. I suppose we will hear non-stop reference to the “ice bowl” all week even though it’s been 50 years. tongue

Face mask angle for me is pretty weak. The facemask didn’t prevent him from attempting from turning around or affect the play. I bet he didn’t realize he was facemasked. I don’t know, just seen snippets because I really don’t care, but got interested seeing everybody talk about a fix.

Apparently there were 4 potential calls on the play>

No matter, the Packers will smoke them next week.

Gonna be quite a challenge for the Boys in Lambeau. There are controversial calls in every game, this one just happened to go Dallas’ way. At least it was a Hawkeye grad who got away with it.

Detroit had them on the ropes in a game that nobody thought they would even be competitive in. I said it a few weeks ago, I wouldn’t bet on Dallas in the playoffs until they give even the slightest reason to.

Green Bay is going to blow out Dallas, it’ll be over at halftime.

This wasn’t controversial until they ignored it….. and no, calls/no calls are different than ignored ones and they are not in every game.. In fact this is the first time I can recall seeing a penalty called by the referee, then ignored and no explanation. Flummery at its finest…. agreed, Rogers will tear them apart.

Hahaha… people have lost a lot of money betting against Dallas all year. Go ahead and put your money on the table. Two top 5 QB’s battling it out, Two solid running games… I bet its close the whole game.

I said I wouldn’t bet on Dallas in the postseason, they’ve had many good regular seasons only to collapse in the playoffs. Big difference. They didn’t cover the spread yesterday.

I’m with BigG, I wouldn’t hesitate to bet large on the Pack.

I have no idea how this one is going to go. I can see GB blowing them out, I can see the Cowboys hanging really tough like they have on the road all season, I can see a last minute drive to win it by either team. What I can’t see either team as a clear cut favorite.

What I CAN see is that Romo better get a fire lit under his @ss before halftime or it will be all over by then. GB isn’t going to fail to capitalize on opportunities the way Detroit did. Even with the bad calls, Detroit managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yesterday.

Hopefully, the NFL will address the amateur hour refereeing situation. Besides the blown calls, there were some real stinkers in terms of inconsistency. Very poor performance, obviously there are some issues if that’s all the better of a crew the league can muster for a wildcard game.

Romos lack of mobility and ability to dump the ball in the cozy warm weather at his home field could really be magnified at a hostile cold Lambeau Field.
I know Romo has had a good year but I’m just not sold on his ability to ramp it up in a game like the one coming up.

This is the time of year where I don’t have a dog in the fight(Vikes fan) and just hope to be entertained by very good football.

Look at the replay before the still pic you attached
    Clearly a facemask
And for those out there that don’t know including sports announcers…
Face guarding isn’t allowed in college but isn’t considered a penalty in the NFL.

You so called “Viking fans” that jump over to the Packer bandwagon have made me laugh for years.

Still holding a grudge over the so called “Push off” BT Drew Pearson or is the Herschel Walker trade that still has all of you Cowboys haters still pissed off?

I’m crying right now cause I’m laughing so hard!

    How bout them Cowboys!

I’m not sure if the “Vikings fans jumping on the Packer bandwagon” was directed at me but that’s about as far off base as could be. There’s nothing more I would like than to see the Pack get crushed. Let’s make this clear, I do not root for the Packers. I neither like or hate the Cowboys, You’re reading quite a bit into my picks, the Hershal Walker trade? who cares. I do however like to gamble on football and won’t let personal feelings cloud my betting decisions.

How did the Hawkeyes get drug into this?

All I’m saying is that I don’t think Dallas gets blown out and I don’t think Packers fans should be so confident just because they are at home. Dallas has the right formula to beat any team if they can execute. This game comes down to defense… and both of which have been questioned throughout the season. Might be a final of 50-48 or something…
