I have a Daiwa Zillion that I have owned for about five years. The other day I noticed that a screw on the side plate has somehow worked loose and fallen out. The reel is now basically unusable as the side plate will pull away from the spool if any torque is put on the handle. I have looked on Daiwa’s website but I can’t find anywhere to order a replacement screw. Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Reach out to John at Tuned Up Customs. No promises but he’s proven to be able to find hard to find reel parts for me in the past.

Click the service link and find the exact part number for your reel part. Then call here: A. You may call (562) 375-6800 for service. Customer Service is available 8AM to 4PM Pacific Time. Please also visit the following location on our website for a Daiwa Warranty or Service Center nearest you.

They will probably send it to you for free.

If this link does not show up like in my earlier post, it is:
http://www.daiwa.com/ Then click the service link for manuals and parts diagrams.
