Eberflus conducted his normal next-day interview with the media. He took questions not knowing mgmt intended to fire him. The McCaskeys have absolutely no class.

If he didn’t know management had intentions to fire him, then that alone is grounds for dismissal. He’s an absolutely incompetent coach – but, also, to your point, Management and Ownership is also very much incompetent. That team has big problems at all levels. I put them up there with Cleveland.

Safe to say Interim HC/OC Thomas Brown will not be sticking around as HC next year. Yikes that was a brutal showing!

I saw the name Manning and thought maybe this was about Peyton Mannings induction into Da Bears Superfan Club. Not a bears fan but wouldn’t say no to baptism by Italian Beef Juice. Watch the video its pretty entertaining. They accuse Peyton of cultural appropriation for having the same name as Walter Payton.

When the Bears were 4-2 nearly 2 months ago, I knew they were frauds. All their wins were against poor teams. I predicted a 4-13 finish and that result looks like it will “bear” out. Only 4 more losses to go! rotflol

I was dumbfounded by how that Lions-Bears game ended. That had to be one of the most incompetent endings to an NFL history. They had plenty of time and a timeout. There was a 7 to 10-second window where they had to snap the ball or call the timeout. I was in disbelief that they let that critical window close. The coach deserved to be fired, especially after doubling down after the game.

It looks like the coaching change didn’t do much for team morale. I didn’t watch the game yesterday, but it looks like the team took the week off. Have they packed it in for the season or are they going to get up for the remaining NFC North games? I’m guessing Da Bears are going to give it their best shot in the Division games.

Ok, Caleb, stop feeling sorry for yourself. You can make your team’s season by beating the Lions at home. Their D is a vulnerable trainwreck. This is very much a winnable game if you play like you did against the Vikings at home a few weeks ago. Recapture that magic. Rally your Defense, and give that home crowd what they are hungry to get loud for. You can do it. I’ve seen it. The Lions are feeling the pressure of the walls closing in on them. Kick ’em, and don’t stop kicking ’em until the clock hits zero.

Da Bears not looking good. Two fumbles in the 1st Quarter.

Will Da Bears pull it out vs. the Seachickens? Bears driving in the 4th Q down 6-3.

I can’t imagine what it must be like to be a bears fan, I know some Vikings fans so I have an idea how bad it must be but wow. At least they have 1985 to fall back on.

I’ll donate the first $10 towards a 10 year contract for this Bears Interim Coach to be the permanent guy

What a fun game if you are not a Packer fan. Da Bears! I was live blogging it over at Bass Boat Central. I thought for sure the Bears had blown it yet again. Caleb had his moments of clutch play in this one.

Da Bears just made me $24 on a $25 bet to cover!

The Packers pulled Love with the elbow. They also pulled Jacobs. Doubs didn’t play. Quay Walker and Evan Williams didn’t play.

It’d sure have been nice to win, but this wasn’t exactly on all hands on deck effort for 4 quarters.

Caleb Williams has really flipped the switch into protecting the ball compared to what he did in college. I think he can definitely be an average NFL starter with the right coaching. He’s no Mahomes, but I surely wouldn’t call him a bust already

It is mostly fans that focus on draft picks. Most coaches do press to win ..

Panthers beat the Falcons today. What a clown show Atlanta is.

    Patriots beat the Bills too.

Even so … Maybe the NFL should have a lottery for say the first five draft picks in the NFL draft to keep all teams “playing” to the end.
