Anyone here using them? My dwindling stash of maximas is starting to look pretty worn and I’m thinking about maybe trying a different arrow for the next batch. I’ve been shooting the same setup for the last eight years, and though I’ve been content with the performance I wouldnt mind going heavier yet to maximize momentum and penetration. 25 yards is a long shot in nearly all my bow hunting setups so increased arc is really only a factor when having fun at the range.

Set up is a mathews dxt, 70# and 29″ draw, drop away rest. Plan on throwing nocturnal nocks in the back and 125gr Montec (or maybe magnus stingers) out front. More than likely go with blazer vanes though I may fletch a few with 4″ feathers just for kicks to see if I notice any difference. Theoretically this should take me from about 430 gr to about 510 gr total arrow weight. Some loss of speed, but basically irrelevant with the distances I make my bow set ups for and added weight for more punch should I not hit exactly where I intended.

Both myself and my old man switched to the Piledrivers a couple years back and we have both been really happy with them. I run a Mission Ballistic at 60# and he runs his SBXT at 60# as well, both shooting stingers and it didn’t take long to get our broadheads spot on with our FPs with the Piledrivers. I definitely recommend them!
