Dr. Bastion, a TSE researcher, has been concerned that the prion/cwd connection is unfounded. His research has uncovered a bacterial connection(spiroplasma). If CWD is bacterial, a field test and vaccine will soon be available. This may also have implications for other brain diseases in people.
