I built this rod from a Sportsmans Direct 34″ Extreme Taper blank that has been sanded down to a panfish rod. I was experimenting – the tip is quite light and fast, the midsection is a little heavier than planned and the butt just a little lighter, so the bend is not as parabolic as planned. Still a good sensitive rod with enough backbone to do the job. Landed a 20 plus inch walleye on it with 2 lb. test the first time out with it and it handled that fish well. Built for panfish – does well with small jigs up to around 4mm tungsten. Made with smaller Pac Bay fly guides for sensitivity and a 5 inch cork handle.
Asking $25 with $7 shipping.
