    Hey guys and gals,

If your like me, you really don’t like to leave things out in the open. I went from a longer boxed Ram truck to the shorter boxed due to a growing family. I decided to make myself a rod tube with a secured door for my truck going to lakes around me or long fishing trips. I welded up the brackets for the steakpockets and used locking nuts for stability. fits 2 spinning combos and 3 bait casters. Its 8’2″x6″

Check out the photos below and let me know what you all think!

I made it for about $100.00 & so far have enjoyed it!

I made something like that for my rods but I used PVC tube, end cap, and a screw on end cap. I like the bracket you made for attaching it to the truck. Nice job.

That is sweet! Great solution to all these shorter pick up beds nowadays.

Great idea and nice quality work!
Looks like you can also put a padlock on the end to keep things safe waytogo
