I’d also remind people that not all crypto is designed to be a store of value.

No crypto is a store of value, it is far too volatile.

This is why I mentioned that not all are “designed” to be a store of value.
There are a lot of different things happening with Crypto. Bitcoin and Crypto are not synonyms.
If you think of it as going to the casino, then it is like going to the casino. Same as anything else.

Revisiting this thread. I’m curious how many of the people that were big into crypto are still holding or still actively investing given whats unfolded over the last month? Pretty scary how SBF single handedly wiped-out billions of value in a week.

Holding onto mine. I have primarily LTC and it has been one of the biggest gainers over the past few weeks.

As I planned, I never touched my $1,000 of crypto (Bitcoin and Ethereum). It got as high as $1,460 and is now down to $350 rotflol

LTC is one of the only ones not in the red over the last 30 and 60 days, so that has to feel good. Not great on the YTD but that’s a consistent theme across the entire market.

I still hold my allocation to BTC and ETH and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. I’ll likely add to it come January when i fund my Roth.

I don’t know what asset classes will do best. I like a little skin in the game all over just in case.

Waiting for the next market manipulation to come along. Seems like whenever you start seeing a lot of news about the crypto market being diwn you see a big rebound after.
