Is anyone concerned this plot seems an awfully lot like the movie Canadian Bacon? Create a fake war to try to drive up polling numbers? And gullible people buy it right up.

I’ve been saying this form the start. I comment smells like bacon, and no one gets the reference. Shameful.

There’s a time to think and a time to act. And this, gentleman, is no time to think.

And I thought that we all would have to go out and buy Depends to get us through the long wait in line to cross…

Plot: The US president tries to boost his sagging approval rating by starting a war with Canada. Slick propaganda campaigns convince a zealous patriot to take matters into his own hands…..

Problem is our Presidents approval ratings dont need a boost..

Gonna get me one of those fancy Hacker rocket launchers on the cheap, regardless of 47s approval rating.

Anyone crossing into Canada, Please share your experience of how it went when you return. Be great to hear Info. from people who actually have crossed. We are almost 2 months away from when we are scheduled for our annual spring trip. Right now I’m more worried about the ice being out more than the border issue. Still lots of below 0 nights and not many above 30 deg. days lately or in the forecast.

Yeah, they seem to be a full grip of winter yet up there. Its hanging on around here, but they keep getting snow. Sounds like we might be in the line for a snowstorm again. Ugh.

Neighbor just got back from ice fishing lake Winnipeg. He said crossing was just like every other time he has crossed.

Canada says it won’t slap its new tariff on groceries carried in by visitors
As long as food and other consumables are for personal use, the 25% surcharge won’t apply, a government official said.
