Crooked lake chain

    I’m visiting friends on the crooked lake chain between brainerd and Garrison.
    Does anyone have any knowledge of the bite up there.

    If you like bass fishing it can be pretty good. Nothing huge, but numbers. Crooked is nice to get out of the wind and kind of scenic. Hank is okay and Portage can be good if you can get in to it.

    Any idea on the depth the fish are at now or recently
