St Croix opener 2011?

    Can anyone please confirm the MN/WI border water opener for the St Croix in 2011? this past year it was 5/1. will it be 4/30 next year?

    Ah the first St. Croix river opener date question, is a sign of spring!!

    April 30th is closest to May 1 this year. High water fishing should be great!

    Hopefully not too high in flood stage though…

    Due to finals being the the weeke after I will not beable to fish the croix on opener, but good luck to all who do. This will be the first time in 8 years that I will not be out there. But I am excited for the high water this year. This year on the ice has been excellent for eyes on the croix so hopefully that will carry over to the boat atleast for me

    Wohoo! My girls dont have a dance competition that weekend! First time in 3 years I’ll be able to make a day of it.

    Also, get April 28th on your calendars for the Annual St. Croix opener GTG! I imagine we’ll do the Borderline again!!

    I could care less about the opener. But there is no way I will be missing the GTG at Borderline.
