I have always wanted to fish the St.Croix since I was a youngster. I finally have a boat and I am headed out next wed. I am hoping to land some ok eye’s and I would love a nice smallmouth bite. I know to look for the points and the gravel, rocks. But where do I find those?
ANY help at all would be great.. Thank you in advance

    Welcome to IDO

Hot Spots maps are pretty accurate with the info they provide. IDO is also a good starting point. If you see a point sticking out and it is covered in rock more than likely you have a rocky point same goes for sand and gravel Paying attention to detail such as hard and soft bottom on your electronics also plays key. The Croix has a lot of structure for fish to hide in

I just find where the other boats are and park in the middle, if I park close enough it gives me someone to talk to while I’m fishing also.
