The rookie will be out on the water again tomorrow morning. I againneed helpffrom you st croix pros. How is the smallmouth bite with the rising water? Any tips to put a consistent bite together? Any tips are appreciated. Thanks a million

I always start with rocks and rapids. These will hold most of your easiest to catch smallmouths. Next I will look at logs and sand banks. I will cast towards the banks and crawl my lure on the bottom. That’s makes for the bulk of my pattern.
