Was out 2 days last weekend, mostley near prescott with a friend Sunday from about 7am to 2pm, caught fish rigging, jigging and trolling, no clear winner of the 3 all worked well. For trolling a purple tail dancer was the hot bait.
Monday I went out with the family and pulled a couple trolling lines while we cruised around, my 2 1/2 year old son got to reel in his first fish ever, a 14″ sauger on lead core, then a couple minutes later the long line rod went off and he didn’t feel like reeling that one in as he was deep into snack time. 
Then a stranded boat that was stuck in neurtral flagged us down and I was able to get them going, the mom was very appreciative and made me give her my address, it’ll be interesting to see what she sends me.
All in all a great weekend to be out there.
