well, the mouth of apple river is above the high bridge, and since there is no up river traffic from there, i was wondering if anybody could tell me were i could potentially launch my boat, somewhere above the high bridge so that i could fish that part of the river.
William O Brian, Copas landing, Boy Scout landing on the Wis side. You may even be able to launch at the Marine on St Croix Marina landing.
The closest landing is Marine or Somerset on the WI side. Beware it’s a long and treacherous drive down that way especially in low water. The mouth of the Apple is not that apparent either so expect some poling or wading around find it. Unless you have a jon boat you might not even be able to get into the river itself. You’ll know you are in the right spot when you see a ton of redhorse.
