Stopped by the Bluffs on my way home this eve, looked pretty good! I expected to see much more ice, but even on the main river it was open water from what I could see? I assume the launch is NOT formally open obviously, but darn with the water this high a guy could go straight out without taking the right out of the lagoon, and there are many parking spaces.

Anyone know if the launch is open yet?

Open as of late last week, no wake is done with too. You’ll need a park pass to launch. Bring it on!

    Sweet

Hey guys, I was just wondering how far Bluffs Park is from Hudson?

What’s the easiest way to get there?

How much is it for a Park Pass? and does it matter if you are a WI resident

    Thanks for the info

You could go thru Afton, but it may be easier to take Manning. Head South towards Afton Alps, take a left on 70th off Manning (second stop sign). Couple miles east to the stop sign by the Alps, take a right, few miles to the park on the left hand side. Annual pass is around $25, best deal going. I don’t think it matters WI wise. Just got home from there, last truck in the lot as usual, beautiful night! Back out Sunday eve, say hi if you see a Titan with a CZ sticker on it, or an Alum with a stuffed Minny Mouse on the back (don’t ask).

Hey plunge, if you go, do NOT go straight out of the lagoon to the river, there is a breakwater. Even tho the water is high, hang a 90 degree right (down stream) turn and follow the bank 100 yards or so before you cut out.
