It sounds like a local snowmobiler has went through the ice in the Afton area. Divers were able to locate the snowmobile but have not found the person. There was a story on the channel 5 this morning about it. Terrible news. Prayers go out to the family.

Yes there is a lot of open water in Afton.
I dont know anything about it but they need to address the tracks left by that sled so others dont follow. Maybe the snow today will help but not likely it will erase all sign. A set of tracks like that could be a death sentence for others.

I am going to have to agree with that. From what I seen on TV it looked as if he went rite into the open water in the Afton area.
