Croix Ice

    I just counted about 9 people out on the Croix, most were over by Anderson Point, 1 up by the high lines and 3 down out from the the north side of the Mallilieu dam. Someone drilled some holes about 5-10 yards out from the landing in North Hudson so I went out and stuck my hand in the water to find about 3 inches of ice. The Croix in this area has only been froze since Wednesday night, I for 1 am going to be patient and give it another week after all it is a river.

    Thanks for the update Jesse.

    I was gonna go down and take a look tomorrow morning, but I guess i’ll give it until next weekend before I venture out there.

    Can’t wait to tear holes in the Croix with the new Solo!

    I see it’s been froze over shore to shore above StillH20 bridge since Monday. I talked to an old timer by Big Carnelian and he says the Croix always freezes before Big C?
    I did not know that.
