I just looked at the Stillwater river gage and it shows a 63 degree water temp. That is down significantly so hopefully the sturgeon bite will pick up now. Low of 39 degrees forecasted for tonight and 35 degrees for Tuesday night – that should just about do it to get the sturgeon hungry.

Looks like it is time to go sturgeon fishing.

About time, before you know it, we’ll be pitching ringies and K-grubs.

I see minnow sales increasing drastically at Evert’s.

I don’t even know why they still make those worthless things.

WOW – I just checked the temp again this morning – 58 degrees. I guess I will need the Long Underwear for fishing this evening. Might have to throw the Mr Heater in the boat. I’ve got 2 days to find one more big flathead before I call it a close on the cat season.
