    The croix offers so much more than walleye! My favorite time of the year is before walleye opener on the croix before the pleasure crafts are out in full force!

    I just found out yesterday there are two tribes that want to spear on my opening day body of water. if that happens they are going to make it catch and release for us hook and line guys
    i may see you guys on the ‘Croix. part of the fun of that trip is the Saturday night walleye fry. it was down to a 3 man limit last year and maybe this year nothing. i normally don’t keep many fish but for the opener it’s almost sacreligious not to keep a couple.
