The Croix gave up a little guy

    They fishing was tough yesterday lots of marks and sniffers but no takers for me on the panfish. My buddy had a good 10 minute run with three fish.

    White Crappie 11 inches?
    Black 12.5 Inches
    Perch 12.25 Inches

    He also had a 50 inch sturgeon jigging for walleyes and it took nearly an hour to land!

    Those are some nice fish. Speaking about crappie, that is what we are having for dinner tonight. Did you notice that the perch has a sawbuck sticking out of his wallet?

    Nice fish, I caught a perch a week ago around the same size.I fished for another 2 hrs.with no more perch.
