Tuesday I spent the day on the water with one of the guys fishing the PRO side of the PWT, I know some of you know him from Oahe, Kent Andersen. We had a fairly decent day fishing. We picked up a mess of saugers (8+) ranging from 12-17 inches, more silver bass than it was worth keeping track of, the ever famous sheepie’s, 4 walleye ranging from 15 1/2 inches to 20 inches, a bunch of missed fish, and I jigged up a crappie as well. I think the full moon may have triggered the bite a little bit as we only fished from 7:30am to 1:15pm.

It was pretty cool to hook up with Kent he fishes the Croix once and a while so he wasnt going blind and didnt need me to guide him in fact he showed me a spot near my home that I never thought to fish and pulled a 17 inch sauger. I showed him a few things and he showed me a few things. Its nice to get out and fish with the big tourney guys and learn some of the trade.

I would like to thank you Kent for allowing me to tag along today (extra lines in the water ) and wish you good luck in the tourney. If you are ever down this way and need some one to hog up the front of your boat again shoot me a PM I would be more than happy to take up space and oh yeah have a few extra lines in the water.
