After about a month of not being on the Croix I made the 2 block trip and put the boat in the water. It was a fairly decent day as far as fishing went with a mixed bag to report. I ended the day with good results. water temps were hanging rite around 66.6* to 67.2*

over 12 missed bites
and the biggest small mouth I’ve ever seen , it made the 22in cat look small but the sad thing is as I was going to net him the hook came flying into the boat I apoligize to the folks who live in St.Croix valley and heard a thunderous f-n-hiemer this morning SORRY . Needless to say I never got the chance to tape the HUGE smallmouth if I were to guess I would go 6 pounds MINIMUM that thing was a monster
