On a slow bite use a half crawler when the walleyes will not hit an entire crawler, especially when you have bought a container of the Godzilla sized crawlers.

Jigging with very fine test poundage line really goes a long way in keeping your jigs as light as possible and still makes bottom contact. This light line is ok when vertical jigging because most fish can be brought up off of the bottom to avoid line breaks on rocks.

It is about time to grease those trailers hubs again, and while you are at it grease your motor as well in the necessary grease fittings. Check your water levels in the battery and make sure the water hasn’t evaporated. Then my favorite is to remove all the line on the props, After a busy season fishing, I always seem to have line on the trolling motor, main motor, or the bow mount…must be the clients fault! Keep Catchin.
