A friend and I were “doin the drift” below the Prescott Launch on the Sip poppin topwaters for Smallies and Whities. We did fairly well with a couple smallies near 17″. While retrieving a cast a fairly long and skinny smallmouth with a white tip on it’s tail ate my skitter pop 
Once landed, upon further review 
it was a 17″ wally? And a few casts later I caught a 15″er on the same lure. Has anyone experienced this before or am I onto a new wave in Walleye Angling?
