Summer time fun on the upper croix.

With warmer temps as of late it has been time to get the kids over to the st croix for some hot fishing and cool swimming. Spending a day with the boat pulled up on a nice sand beach is good entertainment for the kids. Plenty of swimming for them to do. We then take throw out a couple of fishing lines on the bottom to see what is swimming by. Jigs and crawlers or fresh minnows that the kids have caught is the lures of choice. Some days we get just rough fish. Some days there are more walleyes and small mouth in the mix. The kids dont really care as long as there is something to real in. If you guys are looking for something to do with the kids give this a try this summer. It will be a big hit with them and get you some big points with the FW.
